This fascinating pictorial map was published in 1935 by the famous cartographer & illustrator, Ruth Taylor. It appeared in "Our U.S.A - A Gay Geography," with the maps done by Ruth Taylor and the text by her husband Frank Taylor. These maps are bold, colorful, and are fun to study. They give a local color and flavor giving cultural stereotypes, industries and activities in the state. Yale University is shown with students at a football game singing "Boola-boola-a".
