This attractive pair of maps is featured in Mitchell's "New General Atlas." Each map displays the comparative heights of mountains and lengths of rivers above its respective hemisphere. Beneath the Western Hemisphere, polar projections are depicted, while below the Eastern Hemisphere, there are two projections: one illustrating the greatest mass of water and the other showing the greatest mass of land. Both maps are encircled by Mitchell's signature grape vine border, adding a classic decorative touch.
